Café™ 30" Knob-Control Electric Cooktop - CEP70303MS2

I have been using my GE Cafe Series cook top for two months now and I still LOVE it! I was heartbroken when my prior cook top I had used for 25 years went to appliance "heaven," but this one has stolen my heart! I did lots of research before finally deciding on this one. I absolutely love the "power boil" feature...it really cuts down on cooking time for pasta and potatoes. I have used the sync burner twice...both times with the grill top that came with the stove. I love the sync feature and it worked very well, but I was disappointed with the grill top. I am accustomed to cooking on non-stick cookware so the grill was a mess to clean up. I also really love that there are five burners and I have actually used all five at one time! It is nice to keep some things warm while actively cooking others. I also love the lock feature! It was a bit of a surprise the first time I tried to turn on the stove with the lock on and this would definitely come in handy with "littles." Because there are so many features on this cook top (varying sizes all in one burner and sync burners), I find myself paying extra attention to the dials to make sure I have chosen the correct setting/burner. I suppose that will get better with time. I love to cook on this cook top, but hate to clean it. Don't get me wrong...it cleans up well, but the black shows every smudge so extra effort is needed to make sure it smudge-free and dust-free. Overall, I would definitely buy again! Great job, GE!

More alternatives to use small, medium or large size burners at the same cook space of 30". Front control knob for more space in the cook area. Difficult to keep shined, even though it completely clean as instructions.
