Love my Summit Kamado

High quality, plenty of space on grill surface for food, love having the heat lower for indirect cooking and smoking. Gas assist ignition to light the charcoal is awesome. Love it more than I originally expected. Grill is easy to adjust temps and remove the ash. Expensive but build quality is great with the cart adding more stability vs the stand alone version. Recommend better wheels and a more quality cover. The cover is cheap and expensive. Get aftermarket cover.

i see the light!!!

i joke that when i first saw the S6, it was in a stream of sunlight penetrating the roof of the ace much like Jake Blues at the church. it's one of the best products weber has ever put out. i wish the charcoal start worked in both zones. truly a gift from the creator, kinda like butter, chicken skin and ribeye

King Kamado

I love it! Replaced Weber kettle with the Kamado Grill center. Really impressed but not surprised by the overall quality of the product. I have done several cooks on the Kamado and all of them turned out great. I recommend following the instructions provided on how to conduct cooks, i.e., indirect, direct, smoke. Once you get the hang of it you can tweak the process the way you like. If you're use to using a Weber kettle for all of your cooks, you'll get the hang of the Kamado soon enough. Amazing how quickly the Kamado heats up, very fuel efficient. Also, how quickly the grill cools down once vents are completely closed. I wish the Kamado had a rotisserie attachment. Another, nitpick issue I have relates to the moving of the grill grate. Weber recommends moving grill grate up for direct and indirect cooks, and down for low/slow cooks. I wish there was an external mechanism to move the grate. Currently you must move grate before your cook and no good/clean way to move it during the cook. Again, I'm nit picking. Thus far I'm really pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their cook game.
