Bought 2 T5+'s to replace the absolutely infuriating Google Nest t stats I had bought only about 1 year ago. These Honeywell work exactly as I feel a t stat should and give me the ability to do exactly what I want with my HVAC system. Easy install, App is easy to use, and the feature I love the most is the “Permanent Hold” feature that Nest didn't feel I should have the ability to control. Love them!!

I had almost bought a wifi thermostat for years, but never pulled the trigger. Always wondering, do I "need" these technological luxuries. I finally pulled the trigger and I will never look back. Technically still a "want", but one that allows me to keep the house cold at night while I'm sleeping, then crank it up while lying in bed. I also don't need to worry about forgetting to turn the thermo down when I'm leaving the house in a rush. It can be done from anywhere. Specific to the T5, it was easy to install, the app is straight forward and very responsive. Fair warning, I do not utilize the geo-whatever, aka AI weather/heater adjustments so I cannot speak to that feature.
