Buying a second set!
I bought a set similar to this in 2003. We LOVED the set. We ate outside breakfast lunch and dinner for the entire season. It still looked brand new after 7 years when we moved and had to leave it behind. We are now moving again and planning to buy this same set again because we were so happy with it. There is one difference and this is my question. The set we purchased in 2003 had 2 swivel chairs and 6 regular chairs for the sides. My husband and I loved the swivel chairs but I do remember that they were more difficult to pull up to and back from the table. Being on the end it didn't matter. But on the sides, especially the person in the middle wont be able to swivel in and out. I am concerned that it may be too difficult and impractical for the side chairs to swivel as most of our family and friends using the side chairs are children and older people that need help getting in and out of the table anyway. Does anyone have the swivel side chairs and have any comments to add? Both types of chairs are available. I just need to decide. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

this a really nice durable set and the swivel/rocker action is amazing. our kids love eating dinner outside so this works for us. the chair cushions are comfortable.
