Toughest boots I Ever Bought

I Have purchased a pair of these boots almost two years ago. I wore them to work all the time in mud and snow and gravel I welded quite a bit while wearing these boots and I have never seen a pair last like these boots In the two years that I have worn them not one thread let go they held up better than any pair of work shoes or boots that I have ever owned.

These are what I have been looking for..

The company I work for offers us a boot allowance if we shop at certain places. I tried what I think is every boot on at that store trying to find one I like. It seems like I always go back and mentally compare the boots im trying on to the best set of boots ive ever owned which were a set of Twisted X boots when they first started getting popular. They lasted me two years, and I wore them untill I wore a hole straight through the sole. The last set of twisted x boots I will ever buy were purchased last year. They lasted me a solid six months before there were so many holes in the leather that it wasn't worth wearing anything on my feet compared to the boots. The soles were entirely un stitched from mid way through the foot to the heel. I put these durangos on and they felt fairly comfortable so I thought I would give them a try. When I put them on for work later on that day I knew I had messed up bad. They were very tight in the toes, I had to double check the size. I wore them that day and when I went to take them off I thought, well, I stopped noticing it. The next day putting them on, they were not nearly as tight. After a week of wearing these, im hooked. They feel like im wearing sports shoes. They have great arch support, and break in nicely. The leather is miles thicker and more rugged than any pair of twisted X I could find, and it is not stretched thin over the steel toe like virtually every other brand of boot is. This is the single most common point of failure I notice, and Durango left enough material on the set that I have to cover all the bases. The stitching looks good and very durable. I have only owned these for just over a week, but my bet is they are going to hold up alot better than the twisted X. These things are miles more comfortable. I will update the review when im shopping for new boots in a year or so, but right now these things are just awesome... I look forward to wearing them every day..
