Excellent winter tire for snow

This is the first winter/ snow specific tire I've used on my Chevy 2500. I also plow a little when the snow flies. I had my installer stud the tires when they arrived from Simple Tire. These tires have been truly excellent this winter! NH has gotten a good amount of snow and ice, and I've driven over or pushed my way through all of it to great effect. Compared to the all season tires I used to run on this truck, the General Artics are so much better.

I haven't actually installed these on my 2018 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 yet, but will do so before winter. I'm looking forward to running them in some serious snow and ice...if it happens this winter. I will have to update my review once I do. The last winter tires I purchased were Michelin Latitude X-ice for my 2007 Chevy Colorado 4x4, and they were awesome, but quite expensive. So, I'm looking forward to comparing the performance of these more reasonably priced Generals. One thing I can say, is that I purchased the LT version of these tires, and the tread depth is incredible!

I purchased these for my 2500 HD plow truck, so far they provide great traction on packed snow and ice and, freshly fallen unplowed surfaces alike. I got mine studded as I have several steep driveways. They definitely hook up in situations where other all terrain tires left me spinning, or stuck.
