A Nice Addition to Composting
The Vitamix Food Cycler it the perfect solution to our food scrap problem. We have larger scale composting on our property, but found kitchen scraps a nuisance as they were always in various small containers awaiting transport to our outdoor composting. I am very happy with the process and end product. We typically run 1-2 cycles/day. It's just so easy.

I recently moved to the woods, and with bears and other critters present, I had to consider solutions to avoid having our garbage rummaged through. Traditional composting, for that same reason, wasn't a desirable option either. Then, I came across the foodcycler. I am totally in love- I use it every day and show it off to pretty much any guest that comes over. I've noticed such a considerable cutdown on the amount of garbage we produce, while making me more conscious of food waste, in general. I can't wait for spring to arrive, so I can use all the fertilizer that I've accumulated from using the foodcycler. In the meantime, it has been great for our indoor plants. I would recommend this product to anyone, mostly because it cuts out all the annoying aspects of composting.
