This clock was just what I was looking for and I was glad to order it. I didn't check to see where it was shipped from, but it must have come to me from far away because it took time to get here. The clock had a glass crystal and should have been packed with padding over the glass portion and the item should have been shipped in a box which was well padded. Instead this glass clock was shipped in a standard plastic shipping bag, and when it arrived, it had shattered enroute. I was disappointed and angry that this was not prepared better. When I took the clock back to my local Walmart for a refund, the glass particles found their way out of the bag, that I hadn't opened, and fell onto the clerk's desk, causing her extra trouble. So.....I would suggest that Walmart make their shipping requirements more stringent with their suppliers.
