Is your child ready to go down the trails and is looking for a great Mountain Bike. Our team of engineers has designed our Decathlon Rockrider ST100, Kids Mountain Bike, 24", 4'5" to 4'11", Unisex, Black. We made this Mountain Bike for your Child's comfortability while having quick and responsive brakes. We've designed this robust, easy-to-use (1 chainring) 24-inch Kids Mountain Bike for helping kids' to get started with Mountain Biking. Due to kids having smaller hands than adults, it's not always easy for them to reach the brake lever. This is why our engineers designed a brake lever that is closer to the handlebars and thus easier to hold. For effecting braking our engineers attached two V-Brakes to ensure rapid braking in any scenario, it quickly stops the rotations of the wheels. The frame's rear chainstays are short, making the bike responsive and easy to handle. To transport the bike, we’ve made it easy to remove and attach the front wheel. It is equipped with a quick-release system. This bike allows your child to take on sloping terrain. Our Mountain Bike is equipped with a bell, lighting, wheel reflectors, and platform pedals. This Bike does not come included with a Kickstand or a Bottle cage.
- Two V-Brake pads for effective braking. These brakes are composed of calipers that exert more or less pressure on the rim to slow or stop the rotation of the wheels.
- This bike is equipped with a grip shifter to change between the 6 speeds: It's safer and easier for children as they don't need to let go of the handlebar to change gears. Making changing gears to match the terrain simple and easy!
- A saddle with a sporty design, designed with care to adapt to the morphology of children. It is equipped with a plastic cover at the back (a bumper) to protect it from any impact.
- This Mountain Bike is equipped with an inclined stem for maximum comfort. Your sitting position on the bike is slightly raised to help you plan your route.
- The new chainset has a 152 mm crank that is designed for a child's leg length. This chainset allows you to start pedaling more easily. The double chain guard prevents the chain from derailing.
- To transport the bike, we’ve made it easy to remove and attach the front wheel. It is equipped with a quick-release system.
- The tires are designed for mountain biking. The side lugs provide a good grip on turns.
- The recommended tire pressure is indicated on the side of the tire (2 to 3.5 bars). 24" inner tube, 1.7" to 2.2" Schrader valve.
- This Mountain Bike is equipped with a bell, lighting, wheel reflectors, and platform pedals.

It's a solid bike, especially for the price. I really like the brake handles that are easier to grip. That's a good safety feature. I would have liked it more if it had an aluminum frame, but for the discounted price I couldn't ask for more.

Love it but shorter than typical 24 inch bikes
This is a well build bike, simple with 6 speed gear only. However, it do NOT has front suspension, which makes the front too short for my 10 years old (the suspension is 6inch in height, which makes other bikes with front suspention useable for the 10 years old). Due to the smaller size than typical, I will have to return it even though I liked its build quality.

Great Kid's First Mountain Bike
This was the easiest assembly for any bike I have put together. It comes almost completely assembled in the box. Put on the front tire easily with quick-release, screw in pedals (left pedal is screwed in counter-clockwise), add the derailleur cage, adjust the seat height and off and riding. Looks great and sturdy. Great for young kid's first mountain bike.
