A movie from a manga they didn't mess up!

It follow the manga and anime pretty well, which is a big surprise in today's movie world.

I like Death Note

Death Note started out as a Manga (Japanese Comic Book) and became an Anime Series. I enjoyed the movie, but I would recommend the Anime series because it followed the original story how it was written more closely than the movie. The movie changed everything so they could fit the first few plots within two hours.

I Am Kira!

the movie lives up to what i expected. although, i figured that english dub was an extra, not the default setting, it's still good. all the same cast from the anime do the dub for the movie. it holds up well to the original japanese version i saw. all in all, a great buy for any fan of the manga/ anime who wants to see the same story, with a few different twists. can't wait until the second one comes out on dvd.
