Hate the new scent.

Loved Dawn before the change to the scent. Have always used Dawn for the cleaning power because of the scent. I won't purchase it again and will discard the bottle I just got. It used to smell clean and now it reminds me of stinky flowers and gives me a headache.

New smell is horrible

The new smell turns my stomach. It's so perfume smelling. I now smell my freshly washed glasses and plates before use to be sure the smell is gone. It is not a beauty product. I fail to see how you can claim it's a "clean" smell. It's anyting but. I would not use this even if you gave me a lifetime supply for free. It's repulsive. Go back to how it was. It wasn't broke it was the smell we expect of Dawn.

Because preferences can vary from person to person, we offer a variety of dish soap versions and scents, including a Free & Clear Fragrance Free option. As well, our products undergo stringent quality controls to ensure performance and safety. When the soap scent lingers on your dishes, there could be a few potential causes for this happening. Over time, dish soap buildup can accumulate on dishes. Also, if you have hard water, it can interfere with the effectiveness of the soap and leave behind residue (using a water filter may help). For best results, add about 2 tablespoons of dish soap to the sink, then add water that’s 105-115°F. We don't recommend leaving to soak long term, but to wash promptly, and rinse the dishes thoroughly with clean water. Your Fragrance Experts Should Be Fired

Why can't companies leave a great product alone? ABHOR THE NEW SCENT. Original should mean ORGINAL. Unaltered. After 40 years of using Dawn, we will not be buying this product anymore. P&G ruined original Tide powder laundry soap with its new, improved scent (why????) and now they've ruined original Dawn dish detergent. There is such a thing as too much aroma - good or bad.
