Daiya Dairy Free Gluten Free Meatless Supreme Pizza, Vegan, 19.4 oz (Frozen)

My son is dairy free and needs to have this kind of pizza, it helps when we are having a frozen dinner night that he can have something as well. It makes him feel more included. My other son is not dairy free also prefers this pizza compared to the other.

I'm endeavoring to go totally plant-based and so am trying the vegan equivalents of all my fave staples. The Daiya supreme frozen pizza checks the box. Is it exactly like “regular” pizza? No Is it a little like the square school pizza? Yes Does it satisfy the “I want piiizzzaaa” monster? Yes. They do a good job with the “cheese”. It's melty and drippy and will burn the roof of your mouth in exactly the same way as regular cheese. No complaints with the crust. It's ever-so-slightly cardboardy but no more so than most traditional frozen pizzas. Would like to see bigger pieces of the “sausage” for texture. And, it's on the pricey side, one pizza is 2 servings and is the same cost as many traditional pizzas that have 3-4 servings. Still, it's a keeper.
