This is the BEST sour cream! Pure ingredients (milk, cream and salt, maybe? I can't look at my container of it right now.) I was shopping for it just this past week, only the store didn't have the 8 oz. size in stock. Disappointed, so I didn't buy any. No substitutions for the Daisy brand! I also eat their 4% fat content Cottage Cheese. Same ingredients = pure milk and cream. No substitutions for this either! Daisy uses no additives or preservatives! The BEST! LOVE this Cottage Cheese with peaches or pineapple and their juices, good with bananas, too, and red seedless grapes (as a last resort).

The perfect combination of taste and creaminess
I've tried so many brands of sour cream...really all of them available in my area. None can stand up to Daisy in terms of taste and texture. So creamy and so perfectly balanced in taste. I WANT to taste the tang in my sour cream, but not to the point it almost tastes spoiled. Daisy is perfect--and it is by far the creamiest of any other brand.

I like sour cream on potatoes, chili, and other foods. I live alone so I have thrown away a lot of sour cream that goes bad before I finish it. I think Daisy stays fresh longer or maybe I like it more than others so use more. It is my preferred brand.
