The HALSTED Empty White Woven Sand and Utility Bags with Tie Strings come in a pack of 25. They are 15 inches by 27 inches each and the label says they can hold up to 50 pounds each. To close them off with the tie strings I have to make sure not to over fill them, then they are easy to tie off and handle or carry around. I fill a couple of these up with sand in the winter time to put in the back of my truck for better support and traction. I add a couple more to keep in the back in case I do get stuck then I can shovel out some sand (or non-clumping cat litter) to put under the tires for better traction as well. These are great to keep around, especially in a flood zone to try to keep some of the water out. The bags are strong and thick so they are less likely to tear. This is good because they can be used for other things besides sand, like gathering kindling. We use them in the back yard and for camping so it makes gathering kindling easier than bundling by hand. With 25 bags in the package they last a long time.
