DOONBY

When a mysterious, handsome drifter, Same Doonby, arrives in a small, Texas town, he finds work at Leroy's Country Blues bar. There, he showcases his musical talents and catches the eye of Laura, the beautiful but spoiled daughter of Dr. Cyrus Reaper. Sam quickly becomes the popular gossip topic and a favorite among the locals. However, when he seems to always be in the right place at the right time to prevent disasters from happening, jealousy and suspicion drive the townspeople to question his sudden arrival and motives. As Laura begins to doubt him too, he disappears as quickly as he came. Now, with the quiet town shaken up, a dark secret is revealed as the doctor's past comes back to haunt him.
