Heavy weighted bottom making it a floor lamp. If you want to use the bottom that is. I hung one of them and used the bottom on the other. Easy to use, Very bright. With a creative touch you can easily dress them up into a designer lamp you really like. I did. As long as the LED's last the years they should it will be a very good purchase.

Tall and slender, as shown. Very light and somewhat fragile. BUT, they fit perfectly in the corners and no one's bumping into them there. The control switch is a corded box attached near their sturdy base. They can also be set at different light levels, and have memory. Great mood lighting! Very pleased.
