DAP 7079808676 Concrete Filler, Textured Gray, 10 Ounces

This was a different product for me that I wasn't familiar with but needed to purchase to fill some cracks in my patio. The applicator makes this product very easy to use, even for beginners. It set fairly quickly and after a rain I can verify it repelled water and the seal seems to be very secure. I will be buying more of this to fill a few more cracks in my patio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I don't have a product picture because upon my dad's sudden excitement of seeing this on the counter, he ran off right away to do some basement repairs while I was paying bills. Being a long time and now retired carpenter/laborer, he gloms onto any and every construction project and I knew he has a caulking gun to make using this easier. DAP has long been a go-to brand for him but he's mostly used silicone compounds for sealing rather than concrete. However, we've also had basement leaking issues in more noticeable areas and shiny, gooey trails of silicone weren't going to cut it so I found this for him to try out. Needless to say, predictable usage results; easily trim off enough of the tip that the product will distribute from the bead (the bead is your initial starting blob). A caulking gun will help you distribute more evenly with less stress to your hands, less waste of product after smoothing. I am told the finished results are terrific but the basement is a war zone while he fixes it up so we'll just have to take his word for it. It will be painted over and disguised as part of the finish so the best results are the ones you can't tell were even there. Regardless, my dad's approval is enough for this to get those full five stars. He's not an easy person to please.
