DAP All Purpose All Purpose Construction Adhesive 10.3 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is strong!!!!! You do not need to over load your project. The drying time is good and we waited even longer to be sure. It does have a smell but nothing horrible and it does go away. The cleanup is easy and we would use this product again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As stated this is an all purpose adhesive for various construction and remodeling projects. The all purpose is interior use only. So unless you are doing something a bit unusual or outdoors this adhesive should cover the majority of your needs. This tube of adhesive does need a caulking gun to apply it. It also states that one surface must be porous. I ended up using it to reattach some chair railing that got hit while moving furniture for other remodeling work and was partially detached from the wall. I ended up fully detaching that section of railing, putting this adhesive on the back and then putting it back in place. This is also labeled instant grab, which it seemed to do a pretty good job of. It at least stuck well enough so that I could put the nails back in. The section I repaired wasn't overly long, but it also wasn't short either so I didn't want to take a chance of just testing the glue on its own without nails, just to potentially have another project to do later. Overall this is a great adhesive. It was easy to use and as long as you have a caulking gun it probably wouldn't hurt to keep a tube or two around for quick repairs around the house that come up from time to time.
