Overpriced bulbs that are not brighter

These are advertised to be a lot brighter than the OEM bulbs they replace. My original factory Osram bulbs are 7 years old. Based on the advertised increase in brightness, I decided to upgrade the bulbs to these newer ones. That was a mistake. These cost $195 plus tax ($210) and they are not brighter than my older model original bulbs. It is all hype for a very over priced bulb. If you want to stick with Osram bulbs, the older model bulb, which is still available at half the price, would be more economical and may actually last longer and have a longer warranty period.
