I don't game and didn't buy this computer for that intended purpose. I was looking for something that was fast and could handle multi-tasking with ease. Comparing the price of laptops and other computers of the same caliber it wasn't much more money to just get the gaming computer that's made to do anything you want. It wasn't my intent to have a computer that I could take with me, so it didn't matter that it wasn't a laptop. I have an iPad for that. This computer runs beautifully and is quiet. It's not loud at all. It's fast and does everything I want. I paired it with a curved 27" monitor that's a higher resolution and glad I did. It came with a keyboard and mouse too. I may go back to my old cordless keyboard however as this keyboard flashes different lights through the letters and makes it harder for me to see. It's a gaming keyboard and probably does more than what I need as I don't game at all. The mouse is pretty and flashes the same pretty colors as in the tower. The mouse is plugged into the computer, and I'm not used to that either. I've always used a cordless mouse. The mouse lights up as well flashing different colors as does the tower which is cool to look at. As far as the performance of this computer, it's living up to my expectations and I've had no issues whatsoever. Not knowing anything about gaming computers I chose what kind of fell in the middle as far as pricing. They offer much more expensive ones and ones cheaper. I felt the price was right and wasn't much more than an expensive laptop. I do believe this computer is upgradeable as well. It has windows 7 too. I'm not a computer guru just a basic read a lot of news, emails and shopping. Now that I have been using it for a while I believe I made the right choice. I was skeptical as to whether I needed all this computer before I made the purchase. If you want a nice computer and you feel this one fits all your needs than go for it. This computer will last me a very long time.

Got it on sale for under $800 so it was a fantastic value. The only complaint I would have is with the CPU and the cooler for it - this cpu seems to run hot and the cooling fan could do for an upgrade.
