A Fabulous Upgrade

I have purchased numerous Moen Integra faucets over the years, but this time went for the upgrade to this high arch, single handle, pull out dual-spray nozzle. We could not be more pleased with the sleek and modern look, verdatile functionality, and easy-to-clean surface finish. A microfiber cloth has it sparkling with ease. Hope to enjoy many long years of service from this faucet in our busy kichen.

Finally a good faucet!

I really hope I have 'bought it for looks, bought it for life" because it looks great. The high arc is so convenient for tall pots, etc. I had a plumber install this and a bathroom faucet at the same time so I cannot comment about ease of installation. This faucet has a narrow spray so you must like that to get this style. Moen has faucets with wider sprays ( just look at the pullout witdh). The only thing that took getting used to is the new faucets are a little flow restricted to comply with water conservation laws. i.e. less water comes out. A Moen customer service person told me it is 1.5 gallons less than before. The faucet is not cheap but I am betting it will last. My last kitchen faucet broke off in my hand. I have the stainless finish and it is flawless and smudge-resistant. The faucet swivels and there is a ball joint on the part where the water comes out so that can swivel, too. It retracts well. Also Moen is very receptive to pleasing the customer. I thought mine came with a deck and it didn't. Moen sent me one with expedited shipping for free.

The best of this style at this price point

At this price range, nobody executes this modern tubular style better. I'm in the trade and am familiar with a wide range of brands. Yes the spray head is plastic, which is true of all brands anywhere near this price - metal spray heads transfer heat to your hand, and can fling and chip your countertop. Yes it's small in your hand, that's what you get with this narrow tubular modern style. Yes the button is small, which is necessary on a spray head of this size, and consistent with other brands. Regarding the 1 star reviews - the "tarnish" someone pictured in the gold finish, isn't tarnish but fingerprints. I see it all the time, the faucets just need a proper cleaning. The brushed gold finish does indeed pick up fingerprints, as do other brands of a brushed gold finish in this (and higher) price ranges. All brushed finishes in all brands pick up fingerprints, regardless of what the brands claim, and they're all harder to clean than polished finishes. For the person who said there's a non-standard attachment and they can't get the water filter installed - you don't attach the water filter *there*, you attach the water filter to the cold water inlet, and the supply hoses on this faucet are standard. For the person who said it comes loose and their handyperson can't it tightened, it sounds like the handyperson isn't using a basin wrench, which not everyone carries. The one that leaked could have been a number of problems, hard to say if it's the faucet. All of the negative reviews sound like people who didn't have professional support either in making the purchase or installing the product. I always buy from a local showroom and have a licensed, bonded plumber install it. Then it's installed properly and my homeowners are insured for even the very rare event of a leaky item.
