Looks Like a New Truck

My truck had developed the GMC cancer around the rear fender wells. Rather than spend a ton of money on a new truck bed or body shop I simply cut the rust out until I got to good metal, wired brushed it to good metal and then sprayed rust converter on it to keep the rust from returning and then covered it all up with the fender flares. I had to get creative with the installation on the back fenders because the metal the fender flare was supposed to connect to was missing because of the rust cancer. I ended up replacing a couple of the decorative bolts with 2.5 in self tapping screws to ensure they stayed in place. The front fender flares were very simple to install using the included hardware. Going into this I was just looking for a way to hide the rust and not expecting to really like them. But I was wrong. They look amazing and the truck looks like new!
