Great burner, lousy player
Works great burning Blu-rays, but had problem with playing Blu-ray movie. I inserted Star Wars Rise of Skywalker and it said on screen I had to buy $59 upgrade to included software to view that title. Haven't tried any other software available free online yet.

Very compact and portable. No problems in operation when used for the first time for Blu-Ray payback with laptop 8.1 software. Have not tried the burner feature yet. This device is supplied with USB 3.0 two port cable in the event that bus power is required.

Faulty drive but great service
I recieved very prompt delivery but the drive exhibited a raspy grinding sound and both of my laptoos failed to recognize it. One was a usb 2, the other was a usb 3 and I even tried an external power supply. On the good side, I recieved an RMA and a return shipping label within an hour of requesting it. Overall great service but the drive was a bust.
