Poor workmanship on the wood

There is glue protruding from the joints in a couple places. The spacing on the finger reliefs on the back of the wheel are off, resulting in chips in the wood between any that were close. Wasn't impressed with the rivet style fasteners but the look from the front was OK. The finish on the spokes and horn cap were great. So if I keep the wheel I will have to refinish it. I still gave a poor rating on the appearance despite the spokes and horn cap finish just because I feel everyone's attention is drawn to the wood.
