Bought 2 T5+'s to replace the absolutely infuriating Google Nest t stats I had bought only about 1 year ago. These Honeywell work exactly as I feel a t stat should and give me the ability to do exactly what I want with my HVAC system. Easy install, App is easy to use, and the feature I love the most is the “Permanent Hold” feature that Nest didn't feel I should have the ability to control. Love them!!

Easy to use/saves energy

I purchased this smart thermostat through a discount program with my electric utility. I did have maintenance perform the install, but if you're handy, you can do it yourself. Setting up the AP was easy. Improvement to control of furnace (installed in December) was immediate. I set up the geofencing feature which uses my phone to recognize when I'm away and adjust temp (down in winter). This works great. Not perfect. Sometimes, it seems I "sneak" in. I'll go into AP and just doing that fixes things. It doesn't happen often and I'm not sure if it's my phone/coverage.
