The Secret of Esrever is a band originating from the heart of Maine. With various musical influences such as Alice in Chains, Faith No More, Tool, Crossfade, and Trapt they tend to break the rules when it comes to their musical creations. As a result, they refuse to fall into a specific musical classification, feeling that to do so would limit their creativity. Currently unsigned, they continue to write and record with a focus on making each song unique. 'We always want each song we write to have something that non of our other songs have had musically' says Chris, guitarist and acting manager. This is beautifully done with their 11 song album 'Cryptozoic'. From heavy metal hits like 'Kidney Punch (Not Today)' to an alternative grind 'Novocaine' all the way to a beautifully constructed end of the world scenario that plays out not only lyrically but musically as well ':01'...even the title makes you feel like time is indeed precious.
