Perfect bright light
I bought this to replace the spot in a can fixture on an enclosed stairway. The bulb is lightweight, unlike some LEDs, looks great in the fixture and gives a very bright light without being harsh. Plus, it was less expensive than the LED bulb it replaced.

Bright, but comfortable BR40
I needed a bright but not abrasive solution for a recessed can light in a large custom shower that has always been dark. Success! I also learned today that not all recessed can lights are the same size. This is a BR40 bulb, 5” in diameter. Many older cans take the smaller BR30, 3.88” diameter. In the BR30 it appears that the brightest GE Reveal is 65W equivalent.
