PowerA Wireless Controller, Pikachu Ecstatic - Nintendo Switch

Man when I tell you this controller works, it works!!! I use it for gaming, it's done my taxes, changes my oil. We've even gone to dinner a couple of times and guess who pays….the controller!! Fabulous product and wouldn't have it any other way. Smooches

Works great. My last Switch Pro Controller was also a PowerA. It lasted for several hundred hours of game play before the joysticks had unfixable drift (about four years' worth of gaming). I replaced it with this model, which was less expensive but I wasn't sure why, as both were wireless. Realized once I received it that I hadn't read the description close enough and hadn't noticed that this one doesn't charge via USB-C like the old one - this one takes two AA batteries. That's my own fault though. For anyone weighing their options and wondering if it's worth spending $20-30 more for one that charges via USB I would say absolutely. You will make that up in savings from buying batteries in just a few months if you play a couple of hours per day. I will probably invest in some rechargeable batteries. As for how it works - great! It's a bit less weighty than the more expensive USB-charging version, but still has a solid hand feel. I adjusted to the difference with zero issue. Very happy with it.
