Caulk tip & Cap

Have used this type several times over the years. Could not find same on anyone's shelf so I ordered online. Apparently they have widened the receiving throat to the tip or the caulk mfg has lessened the width to all its products; in each instance ( purchased 5 units) because the 2 don't apparently compliment each other as the unit will not seem to set itself as is falls of the caulk tube after 3-4 applications. I ended up having to put electrical tape around the caulk neck to secure the unit to the caulking tube. The combination worked perfectly !

User friendly points? Zero.

Newer design does not fit caulk tubes as older units. I've been using these for years, and loved them. Got some new ones and they do not fit properly. I tried on many different brands of different types of caulk. I will have to modify to be able to use. I liked your product for ease of changing application size for different jobs. Another post from 2016 says the same. I will call ASAP.
