Easy to install

This kit is super easy to install, which took about 30 minutes. I havent taken it on a long trip to calculate fuel mileage, but the throttle response is noticeably different than the stock system. This unit is considerably louder too at certain RPM.

Just excellent!

Install was a breeze. K&N provides printed instructions and additional help with a QR code, but the printouts are more than sufficient. Everything is machined to fit perfectly. I used a Swiffer to clean out the inside of the FPU to clean out any random plastic shavings. Otherwise - the airbox, filter, FPU and hoses all fit like a glove. I can feel a difference right away, especially at the low end. Power comes quicker. Gives my 5.3L a nice throaty growl at low revs. Fuel economy is showing improvements but I haven't driven enough to say how much. I've installed cold air boxes before, but this is my first K&N and I'm glad I went with it.
