Sharp Carousel 1.8 Cu. Ft. 1100W Countertop Stainless Steel Microwave Oven

The Last Sharp I had was 25 years old. The only problem I had with that was the door not opening. After 25 years, I think that's pretty good. It's more powerful than the old (the advancement of technology it is to be expected). It looks great. I love the 30 second feature. In the past, I'd stand by the microwave and keep checking, for example the melting butter. I wouldn't take a chance with any other brand with the positive history I've had all these years with the known. I would recommend this to everyone.

Our previous Sharp Carousel lasted 10 years, so we're hoping for the same with this one. It's a bit larger, too, which we don't really need with our small family, but that's okay. Next time we'll go smaller. But this microwave has nice features, easy to use without much referring to the guide book. Sturdy glass plate inside, smooth opening door. One feature that bugs us is the dinging reminder (every minute) if you've not checked on your food when it's done. It's a good reminder to go get your food. But we just hate to be nagged! (Kidding!) Overall, a good product so far!
