This is amazing as a gift, particularly to a family that travels frequently. It is a brief case, building case. Perfect to stow and go in the car or a backpack. Great to carry around on the go. The cover securely attaches and opens to a safe play space for Legos - good edges mean the Legos won't spill out! There are instructions for simple builds, but I see this case being used to transport favorite sets or taking Legos to a friend's house! We gifted to a 7 and 9 year old and each child loved it!
