Crayola 24 Count Signature Oil Pastels With Decorative Tin

The tin they come in is beautiful and would make a lovely gift, I like having some things like this on hand for kids birthday gifts. They are fun to draw with, and the color is very rich. It's also fun to use them in different ways like painting with some water over the colors to create a water color effect. You can also blend them with your hands and the color seemed to wash of fingers easily. They are very soft and would probably not last long with very young kids who apply a lot of pressure when coloring, but there are many different ways to use these! Lots of fun and beautiful colors.

I love this brand in particular for so many products. I liked the packaging as it's in a tin and they have individual space to keep them safe. I love how pastels let you bring your abstract side of imagination out. these oil pastels are so smooth yet do not break immediately. The colors are vibrant and most of all they smear wonderfully for the effect. I ended up making an abstract sunset and though my skills weren't the greatest, the pastels did their job. I will have fun when I allow my kids to do a pastel project with me.
