Texas Buried Secrets

I have been a fan of Virginia Vaughan's – particularly her Cowboy Lawmen series – for several years now. While I've missed a book or two in the series, I have eagerly read the ones I did get my hands on and finished them pretty quickly. Texas Buried Secrets was one that I read in near record time because it has one of my favorite romantic suspense tropes – a serial killer. Texas Buried Secrets was intriguing and intense right from the start. I just couldn't seem to put it down and even snuck off for awhile just to read that extra chapter...or two...or... Virginia Vaughan's Love Inspired Suspense novels tend to be on the slightly grittier side which is one of the things that I truly like about them. Nothing graphic by any means but the suspense gets your heart pumping and your fingers turning those pages lightning fast. I really did enjoy Texas Buried Secrets, sifting through the clues from several cold cases, sorting through suspects, and appreciating the surprises that Virginia Vaughan threw my way. Cowboy Lawmen is definitely a do not miss series and no matter where you start in it you will want to pick up the rest as soon as you've finished reading your first one...
