It is also advised to sweep under your area rug in order to prevent damage from mildew or mold. Hosing your area rug is a cleaning option. To hose the whole area down, spray the area rug off using a garden hose and allow it to dry under the sun. Turn the area rug over to make it possible for the other side to dry, if required. Be sure the entire area rug is dry before placing it back down (especially in the home), as mold or mildew can form in wet areas. Disappointing colors based on description!

The colors are described as: Sand-Azure Blue-Turquoise. There is SO much navy blue in this %26 very little turquoise, I was very disappointed. I've bought a Couristan outdoor rug before that I loved, but it was damaged. I thought the colors would be similar, but no. I almost cried with disappointment, but there were FedEx delays, so we kept it. Not what I wanted, especially at over $300, but it will have to do since Walmart was out of this size in the pattern I had %26 loved. Nothing prepared me for so much navy blue. Be aware of so much dark/navy blue! If I find my prior style, I will re-sell this one.

Couristan Monaco Alassio Runner Rug

PERFECT! PERFECT! PERFECT!...the length and width fits the area intended perfectly!...the color scheme is just as I expected from the website...adds a nice contrasting color to the room! the ""barefoot"" feel of the rug is just right for its location next to the patio door...easy to clean...and great price for such a great quality product...what else can I say!
