Good taste, splits easily

Normally I buy the light version, but Walmart doesn't carry that. When the other grocer is out of stock, I buy these from Walmart. The light version is about half the points (I'm on Weight Watchers). Both the light and this regular variety taste very good. Unlike Thomas English muffins, this brand splits without tearing the bread. I just slide a plastic knife around the muffin, and it falls apart. More solid than Thomas which means no little pockets to hold lots of butter, but then I don't put butter on them. I don't my English muffins to be drenched. Peanut butter and jam spread just fine on these, and sometimes I do use butter, but not have some muffin with lots of butter, but to have a little butter with the muffin. They toast up nicely, too. Bayes is probably my favorite, but at a LOT more points (more fat, more carbs) and can pull apart by hand without tearing. These come next, are fairly easy to pry apart, and cheaper. Last is the Thomas brand due to how hard they are to pry apart, plus the split is uneven: you get a thin top and a thick bottom. I've had this brand many times before, like for years, and it stays on my grocery wish list. Just wish Walmart carried the light variety.

These are great english muffins with a count that is higher than many other brands. I also appreciate this as it is dairy free. It allows me to make my own breakfast sandwiches and skip the fast food prices. Walmart is one of the few stores that stock this brand regularly.

We like the large quantity.

The muffins can be used so many ways. Toasted with jelly or peanut butter is a great addition for breakfast or even just as a snack.. toasted with a hard cooked egg and a piece of ground sausage cooked put between the slices is great for breakfast or lunch.
