I was hospitalized for weeks and came home with really ratty, tabgled hair. It's quite long and very curly. This conditioner smells good, and it really worked great to get all the knots out. I had to apply it and let it sit for awhile, then comb out all of the rats nests. After shampooing I applied some more, let out sit a few minutes then rinsed it out. I was happy to see that i could now run my fingers thru my curls.

I'm so thankful for this detangler. I just used it on my twin son and daughter's hair and it gives great slickness to comb through their hair. My son has 3c hair type and my daughter is 4a. My son is extremely picky about his long, gorgeous curly hair, so when he likes a product (after disliking so many), that's saying something. When I comb his hair out, I notice a huge difference when he uses this. It is definitely worth the extra step! Great detangler, especially for long, curly hair.
