False advertisement

This is advertised (even by the manufacturer) as having customizable startup splash screens. It does NOT!, It only has customizable backgrounds. One of the main reasons I purchased this model over any of the others was because of the custom splash screens it was advertised as having. Instead you are stuck with a slow PIONEER NEX splash screen that takes probably every bit of 20-30 seconds before the main screen loads. Otherwise the unit is nice and I dont have many complaints. Im a fan of pioneer, the screen is responsive, audio is great. I wish that they would offer a screen protector for it because the screen is very shiny. The user interface can be a bit cumbersome at times. As much as the stereo isnt a bad stereo technically I am still very disappointed with the purchase since it is not what I wanted and is not what was advertised. Beware if this feature is important to you!
