Portable and Handy Vacuum!

I really like this vacuum! To start, it's the power. It really sucks (Pun intended)! In addition, putting the entire vacuum together straight out of the box is a breeze. Also, disconnecting sections for easier portability is fairly simple too. When you open the box, everything intuitively comes together. Pieces are labeled, sections / shapes look pretty obvious, such that snapping the base spinner to the main body / canisters and the wand / hose all can be done without instructions. Make sure to remove the stickers on the bottom of the two rollers. The two rollers are such a great design! It can pick up cheerios, goldfish, and dried pasta. It really makes clean up a breeze. In addition, there are two settings for the speed of rotation (hardwood and carpet) which makes sure that both surfaces look perfectly clean. One of the rotors seems like a nice polish for hardwood, while the more traditional rotor does all of the heavy lifting. If you'd like, you can disconnect the main canister from the rotors and hold it around as you vacuum stairs, ceiling corners, tops of shelves / windows. It's a genius design that requires you to only push one button. In addition, the hose comes right off so you can extend it to reach hard to reach places. Finally, disposing of the debris is a snap too where one latch disconnects the waste bin from the vacuum, and another snap opens the bottom latch to release all the trash. There are no bags needed and the filters keep all the air coming out clean. This is a great vacuum for the home and also for the car in the garage. My only gripe (but not enough to lower the star rating) is the width of the bristle brush rotors. I personally wish it was slightly wider by an inch or two to help vacuum larger areas of the house. However, I can see how a smaller width is handy for a smaller area / house.

I wish there were more than five stars!

I don't know if I have the writing capability sufficient to allow me to tell everyone how much I LOVE this vacuum! I am so happy with my Shark DuoClean Lift-Away Speed Upright Vacuum NV770 and wish I could give them away to everyone I know. I will have to just keep annoying people with how great it is. Okay, this vacuum is amazing! First of all, it's very, very powerful. So much so, it almost seems to ‘take off' if you will, it actually pulls slightly forward as though it's trying to take flight! It cleans the carpet very, very well. I was kind of grossed out how much it pulled up! Mostly because I had just recently vacuumed, but of course I just had to try it out as soon as it came in. The best part, it has a light! I remember when I was younger, most vacuums did, but it's been a while since I personally have had one that did. I thought maybe they were gone. Overall, I couldn't even be more pleased. Not only does it clean very well, it's lightweight and requires no bags or any other items to use. You need one!

Picks up dust & dirt

Wow,I am really impressed with this Shark vacuum,it's very well made and lighter than my old vacuum. Yoc can carry this by the handle at the top or using the handle on the cannister. It has LED lights on the front of the vacuum. It handles smoothly and turns smoothly as well. It took about 20 minutes to put together and no tools are needed. The instructions were very easy to understand. I have allergies and asthma, the filters worked very good and no dust was escaping while I vacuumed, thank goodness. It has a five year limited warranty. Some of the features are a long cord,easy to use wand with a good size hose. I was able to easily vacuum my stairs with the hose. There is a brushroll indicator light, hard floor and carpet setting,suction control, lift away mode so you can remove the cannister and vacuum,filters are hand washable there are three filters one is a hepa they must be cleaned every 3 months. It comes with two accessories tools you have to buy the other tools if you want them. The dust cup has to be emptied after every use. I really like this vacuum it gets the job done well on hardwoods and carpet.
