Hillsdale Pulse Twin Bunk Bed with Storage, Multiple Colors

Overall, we are happy with the bunk bed. I really like that most of the bolts and screws are hidden from view. We have the white finish and it matches my daughter's antique furniture pretty well. It is a nice soft white finish. Not creamy, but not super bright white either. I can definitely say that the ladder will only install in one location (right-side). At the time of this review, the pictures on the Walmart website show the ladder on either side, but that is not the case. Also, the hanging shelf is not included. I had to order that separately, We ordered the bunk with the storage unit bundle and, unfortunately, the storage unit was damaged. Instead of just sending us another storage unit (which is available as a separate purchase and is in a separate box from bunk bed), Walmart is sending us another bunk bed and storage unit. Seems silly since we have already have the bunk bed assembled. We have to send back damaged storage unit along with the new bunk bed they are sending out. That should be fun. The pictures of the storage unit show silver knobs on each drawer. Our storage unit had 2 white wooden knobs on each drawer. I actually like that better than the silver. One thing I was curious about when I ordered the bunk bed was how much headroom there was between bottom and top bunk. It is 37 inches from bottom bunk slats to top bunk slats. We have a huge pillow top mattress on bottom bunk right now and I (an adult) cannot sit up fully on bottom bunk. I have ordered 2 bunk mattresses and I think that will help. My daughter, 9, can sit up just fine with the pillowtop. Except for the storage unit fiasco, we are very happy with it. My son had a cheaper set of bunk beds in his room, and the Hillsdale seems to be better quality. The finish seems more durable as well.
