Works as described

I needed to connect my ultrabook to projectors and TVs and usually am limited to VGA inputs. The HDMI to VGA adapter provided by IT didn't work, probably due to lack of power on the ultrabooks HDMI port. Would have needed and HDMI adapter with external power. This work great without external, but that may just be a property of USB-C.

Needing a quick and easy monitor expansion for a laptop

My boss needed an additional monitor option for his laptop. He is used to the two 24" monitors on his desk. I jump online and find this USC-C to VGA adapter, and bam! Ready to rock and roll!
