These chairs are a cost effective option to replacing old chairs. My table is rock solid but the original chairs were destroyed through everyday use. I just need some matching chairs to get me through the next few years and these fit the bill. Yes they require assembly. Yes it takes some effort. I would not use these chairs for larger folks over 6ft and 220lbs. My sons and I both fit this criteria so they are not as comfortable as our old ones. The customer service from Costway is top notch. Like other reviewers the packages were missing a critical piece. They shipped new hardware to me very quickly. This is why Im giving 4 stars. I would given 5 if all the pieces showed up.

The assembly was a bit difficult for one person to do. I had to help my husband when doing the back part. The size of the seat is a little small. Meaning it hits my under thigh short and after a while its uncomfortable. However, I'm sure if I got seat cushions, it would be fine. All and all, I do like the chairs.
