Wide, open grooves, stone ejectors, and sipes all boost traction, and Cooper's ArmorTek3 construction utilizes two 90 degree radial body plies with a third bias ply, two steel belts, and a nylon layer for high-speed stability.

Put them on my 1987 Chevy V10. No complaints whats so ever. For as aggressive as these tires are, the road noise wasn't bad at all. I expected them to howl going down the road after some wear like the Dunlop Mud Rovers I had on the truck before, but I was pleasantly surprised. In snow they were fine but, just like most tires, driving on ice wasn't the best. I never really got them in a lot of mud, but the few times I needed them to get me through some mucky stuff they pulled through without a problem.

One of the many sets of the Cooper tires of various names with similar tread that I have owned over the years. We own semi-trucks and I can buy the tires for them for less money than these, but I will not buy cheap tires that will destruct/take a box side or front fender off!
