Great tires but already old ?

These are great truck tires, I had a full set on my truck for ten years and they where pretty much done so I bought another full set. There on my 2003 Ranger 4.0 4x4, there long lasting quite and look amazing what else can I say. there is one thing that I thought was odd though the tires all had 2013 printed on the tire threads and its 2020 so I'm guessing that it was the manufacture date and these tire are all ready 7 years old but new ? Is Walmart selling old tires and that's why the price was so good ?

One of the best value all-terrains!

This is my second set of the Cooper Discoverer A/T tires. First set was on a Grand Cherokee; this set is on an AWD Ford Explorer. I was so glad to find these at Walmart! One of the first things I noticed with this line is that they are QUIET! A lot of times you hear AT tires and they are noisy- not the case here. Even as they wear, I don't remember noticing any additional road noise. Treadwear was good. When I sold my Jeep they had around 40k miles on them and were still pretty good. Mostly pavement driving. Traction is seriously impressive. Even though my jeep was 2WD it handled hilly farmland well. On my AWD Explorer, it might as well be treads. I've gone up some pretty wet, steep hills without a hiccup. In KY we get some light snow and it has handled that as well. In my opinion, this is the best bang-for-the-buck All-terrain tire!
