Got these for each family member for a trip to a theme park where it was about 95 degrees on asphalt and very hilly. They are each in a thin plastic type ziplock bag with a small clip if you want to put in a belt loop or bag. Was flat and small enough to go in my small purse. Bag makes it nice to store away and carry when not in use after it's wet. They work pretty simply- get wet, when it feels warm, you spin it around by hand, kinda lasso style and now the damp towel feels cool again to place wherever you want. You could do that with a regular cloth, but these don't have to be as wet as a regular cloth to get desired effect, they also don't dry out as fast as a regular cloth and are a nice size. Not so big it's going to hang down your back or down to your chest but big enough to go around your neck or as some men in my family do- on top of their head. Definitely happy with my purchase. Will keep them for future use. Definitely would recommend. They washed well but I did not place them in dryer, hung to dry. Was worried dryer might change its texture and absorption.
