I've bought a lot of blankets over the years, but this is the first one I bought that said it was cooling. I didn't have high expectations since all of the "cooling" sheet sets I bought didn't work, but the moment I took this out of the package I could feel how cool it was. I get hot flashes (side effect of being in your forties) and tend to kick blankets off. First night I slept with this one I was comfortable the entire night. It's very soft and very comfortable to sleep with. We use it every night. I would not call the blanket cozy, because it almost feels like you don't have a blanket on that is how light the blanket feels on your skin. I highly recommend this for anyone who sleeps hot or experiences hot flashes during the night.
