I need to read size description better

My mistake was not reading thoroughly. This is a 12 inch tall 2 inch wide cooling vent desktop fan. The vent is not moveable directionally. It works well for what it is. It will NOT cool a room, it will circulate air adequately. It is very quiet. The price of over $30 is ridiculous. For another $10 you can get a 3 foot circulating oscillating fan. This fan should be in the $15 range, not over $30. It came from overseas and took 15 days to arrive. It was securely padded and packaged. I would recommend a similar size water fan where you can put in cold water or ice if you want actual cooling in a desktop fan. I have one of those and it is more effective at cooling. This fan has two sticky pads to mount it to something. That is a plus.
