Good gap filler

Bought a can to fill 1 inch gap around door frame and to provide sound buffer. Easy to apply, it expands inconsistently so I used gloved finger to make sure all areas were covered. In other areas it expanded quite a bit and globs fell to floor. I just let them dry before touching and they come off easily

Check expiration date,

Check expiration date, first number is year made, the letter is month and two digits are day.... check date first as you would with any product

The First number is the year. The letter represents the month; A=January, B= February. Skip "I" so as not to be confused with the number 1. The next 2 numbers are the date. Cleanup?

I used this product to seal a gap in the ceiling and a glob fell on the new LVP floor. I removed the glob but there is some residue left on the LVP . The instructions on the can told how to remove it from your skin but not from the flooring.

Thank you for posting your feedback. We are sorry to see your low star review on DAP Maxfill Expanding Sealant. Because this product must be dispensed in the upside down position, the use of spray foams in overhead applications care not recommended. As indicated on the product package label and supporting product literature: “CLEAN-UP: Uncured foam can be cleaned from most surfaces with Foam Cleaner or acetone. Cured foam must be removed mechanically from surfaces. If wet foam contacts skin, clean immediately with a dry rag – do not use water – water accelerates curing.
