Just what my bed needed!
I was desperate for a solution for a new mattress I had gotten. The slats on the bed weren't making the mattress even/firm enough and the box springs we had would make the mattress far too high to get onto w/o a step stool! I saw these being sold for an affordable price thru Walmart and hoped they would be the answer I was looking for. They were easy enough to order online, and shipped out to me in a matter of days. The box was a bit heavy and somewhat beaten up, but thankfully the bed boards were packaged well and were protected from any damage. They were two separate mini box springs w/o any springs, if that's the way to describe them. I can't answer for how long they'll hold up, but they're doing what I need now, so I'm happy with them.

We have a foam mattress that was resting on slats. The foam began to sag down between some of the slats. We got this bunkie board, and voila, it's sturdy again! Walmart's price was half of others we looked at.

I have a metal platform bed which doesn't require a mattress. After a year you could feel the metal bed slats and it was uncomfortable. These bunkie boards made my bed feel great. I would recommend.
