TBH, I had to cover up the Snap Effect for a bloody good Halloween reason, lol. Why my snap still has it is beyond me, Ha! I love it. For the price, this curler is worth it! Super Cute. Sturdy and Did NOT burn my hair off! I applied Tresemme Heat Protector Spray to my hair. Heat is perfect for my type of hair: 1-5, but sometimes I use 6-7, NO hotter than that. If you actually take the time to read the instructions, you won't have any issues. My hair is Japanese Fine, curls don't like to hangout a long time unless I use extra hold hair spray. BUT... The angel waves stayed into the next day, WITHOUT HAIRSPRAY and absolutely made me feel Goddess-like! <3 Definitely a MUST BUY and Perfect for a quick curl while traveling as well!! :)

I ordered three different sizes. I love curling my hair at home. The current sale price along with the style is definitely worth the try. If they're gentle with the heat settings you shouldn't have a problem with these. I noticed if you're twisting it hard the plastic may pop off.
